A link to get involved

This is a photo of a group of Ugandan children smiling.

Spreading the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Helping some of the poorest people in the world lift themselves out of poverty.

Invigorating the people of God by leading them to take steps of faith, perform acts of service, and show hearts of love in the dusty streets of poor villages around the world.

That is the vision of Churches and Villages Together.

Churches and Villages Together (CVT) is a non-profit organization that works to link churches in the United States with churches and trusted Christian leaders in poor villages and other communities in developing countries. Through these partnerships, CVT coordinates evangelism, business and ethics training, and the creation of sustainable, accountable economic development projects.

Our aim is to raise both the spiritual and physical condition of needy villages, help them become self-sufficient, and see American churches receive the blessings that come from entering into relationship with their materially poor but spiritually rich brothers and sisters in Christ.

CVT began its international outreach in the East African nation of Uganda in 2008, where a pilot project is underway. CVT is now presenting its work to Christian leaders and potential church partners throughout the United States.
